My daughter who is only 2 years old is in daycare while i am at school. She is mostly well behaved but lately she has been getting into trouble while she is at daycare. (taking toys hitting not being nice) I have talked to her about this and how she needs to be good and I think she understands because she always yes okay mommy i will be good, but the very next day she does it again and now she thinks its funny and kinda has this attitude of i can do what i want. How can i get her to stop acting this way? I cant take her out of daycare because im still in high school and trying to finish. Her dad is no help. This there somthing im doing wrong or is she just 2 and acting like a 2 year old?

She is SUCH a normal 2 year old. They are the center of their own worlds and their needs are all that count, they have no concept of "sharing" or "being nice". Talking to her is great but she also needs to be shown what is and what is not acceptable. If her daycare is simple "getting her into trouble" I would be looking for new daycare! Kids that age need to be repeatedly but gently reminded that what they are doing is not acceptable and if they continue they need to be distracted or moved on to a new activity. It is hard work and will have to be done at least a thousand times but she will learn. Like I said if her daycare is unable to handle this in a manner appropriate to her age then you need to seriously consider moving her to a new center.
