My wife and I were thinking about dropping the kids off at a church and going to a brunch. Any suggestions?

There is usually a free pre-school program for them. You are supposed to attend with them, but if you make an excuse then they’ll care for them. Some people say its bad because they try to teach kids to be Christians, but since the kids are so young, they take no notice.

Yes. Stay and listen to the message. You may learn a thing or two.

I think that is a great idea. I used to drive a church bus that picked up kids from all over because no one would take them to church. It was a non-denominational church and it had super church for kids PLUS Sunday School. So, it could last 2 to 3 hours. It’s free. I saw lots of parents that began to show up later on after the kids had been coming for a while.

WOW! You might need to go to church yourself! That is the funniest thing I heard… using god for a free sitter! FIND GOD! I will pray for you!

Catholic masses are long as hell. My church didn’t have childcare though.
It’s kind of a dick move to make your kids go to church and then you leave to go elsewhere.

The way the nursery works (ages 0 through 5 years) is you can drop them off before the first service at about 8:30 – 9:00 (depending on when the first service starts) and pick them up after the last service, usually about noon. You will receive a sticker with a number on it and if you are needed to come to the nursery, many now have an electronic system where the number flashes discreetly on a screen in the main worship room or the adult classrooms. You will then be expected to go to the nursery asap.

Since you would not be there, as soon as the nursery people realize this, children’s protective services would be called. Expect to lose your children. Hope brunch was worth it!

No. It’s free to people who are in church, but it’s not a community service. Parents should never leave their children at a drop off. Get yourself a baby sitter.
